My First Signing

I can hardly believe that my very first book signing is this Thursday, April 6th. For anyone who's in the area, it will be at Fairfield U Bookstore at 7 pm, and yes, this is for Case of the Missing Look Alikes. I'm still undecided as to what paragraphs I'm going to read, but I'll choose a couple either later this evening or at some point tomorrow. I spent a good portion of this morning setting up my author Facebook page and I'm happy with it. I do hope you'll visit!

First Novel Released!

Yes, you read the title, correctly. I am beyond thrilled to announce the release of Case of the Missing Look Alikes, on Amazon, Barnes and Noble or it can be purchased/ordered in any brick and mortar bookstore of your choosing. It's finally happened and I am absolutely over the moon! I am preparing for my first signing, which will be in Fairfield at Fairfield U Bookstore on April 6th at 7 pm, for those of you in CT.

Here are a couple of links for you:https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=9781941015322

Thank you to everyone who helped me reach this point, I wouldn't be here without you! This journey is not walked alone. Thank you to those who've read it and given me wonderful reviews and to those future readers who I hope to meet one day. Without readers, we authors would just wander, aimlessly telling ourselves stories :)

Release for first book!

Schedules do change, that's the nature of the business and we adjust. In the interim, we continue to write, right. Right. At least, that's what I do. Case of the Missing Look-Alikes will be coming out either the first or second week of November! I cannot wait! In the interim, I've completed and sent off Case of the Mouse Trap Legend and have begun research on Case of the Misplaced Art.

I have to say Mouse Trap Legend was a blast to both research and write. I'm one of those writers who adores research and interviewing people, even for the tiniest of details. It's the minutia that can make or break a crucial section of a tale, so if it's not correct, someone along the line will discover it and call you on it. So in my opinion, taking the time to dig pays off and besides learning is always fulfilling. Laura and Mike do find themselves in some interesting situations in Mouse Trap, along with a new friend, and it makes for comical interaction coupled with daring international spies attempting to throw them off their real mission.

Misplaced Art is going to be another thrill ride pitting them against art gallery thieves, or shall we say, forgers? Could be a bit of both. I never know what my characters have in store until things unfold.

Update

Back again with interesting news. I know, I ought to drop by more often, but if I'm busy writing and editing then it's difficult to say the least. Case of the Missing Look-Alikes will officially be released in October, I don't have the exact date just yet, but when I do, I shall post it here. Originally, I thought it was going to be September so I wanted to straighten that out. Secondly, while working feverishly with my extraordinary editor, I was writing concurrently Case of the Mouse Trap Legend which is now complete! If all goes well, that will be released next spring and I'm equally excited about that one which is a bit of a spy thriller. More on the plot later, but it's quite a ride, literally. Let's just say the North Koreans try to take something that doesn't belong to them for nefarious reasons, but attempt to use interesting diversions to throw off Jensen & O'Malley in the interim. I do bring in a new character in this one and that's all I'll say at this point.

Editing & Writing!

Hi There,

It's been a while, a very long while matter of fact. I've been so busy with writing and now editing that I've neglected my blog. Hmm, it's a bit dusty in here. Few cobwebs, too. Nasty little buggers.

I would say it's Spring, but since we had snow the other day and it's barely out of the 30's, I'm going to wait a bit on that one. They say, whomever they are, that it's going to warm up in the next few days. I'll believe it when I see it. What I can't figure out is, the grass is growing? It's in the 30's and it's growing! I'm not getting out there in my winter coat, hat and mittens to mow the lawn. No way! I did see a couple of robins tugging out a few worms yesterday. That was quite something. If they're around, then Spring is here. I wish the temperature would reflect it. I suppose we'll be complaining in a few months how hot it is, so I'll be quiet.

So, book news! Missing Look-Alikes will be released in September! Yay! I'm incredibly excited and am working with a fantastic editor, through the publisher. She's going to work with me on all three books, and I feel so fortunate about that. It makes complete sense to have the same person to follow through, but you never know. We're close to being finished;  the end of April is our deadline, so that's not too far off. In between editing the first one, I'm writing the second one: Mouse Trap Legend and am roughly 100 pages away from completion. I've a bit more research to do, and that comes up mid-May at McGuire Air Base. That's all I'll say on that, don't want to give too much away :)

I'll be back soon, in the interim, keep writing!

Close!

My current book Case of the Missing Look-Alikes has found a home. I will say more in a few days. Aren't teasers fun :) The following title Case of the Mouse Trap Legend is going to the same home, along with the subsequent title Case of the Misplaced Art.

More to come!

Crazy

Call me crazy, but I refuse to quit this thing I've dubbed the, "query hamster wheel." I'm either insane, or a glutton for punishment. It's entirely possible that there's a third choice, and I believe in my writing. If it's the latter that's driving me, then, one day, I shall have a phenomenal agent representing me who will sell my book.

Writing is my identity. It's in the air I breathe. If I don't believe, then who will.

It will happen.
